What are Glimmer Grids?
Glimmer Grids are a creative and aesthetically pleasing way to organize your Disney Lorcana cards.
It is 100% based on the Michi Method (@peeplop) who started this method by adding in artwork, postcards, and other beautifully designed printed materials to feature in his binders to showcase along side his trading cards.

Create Your Own Glimmer Grid
The Digital Method
Step 1 - Download the Canva Template.
Step 2 - Pick a theme or vibe.
Choose theme or concept for your grid such as Princesses, Villains or a specific film, animal or vibe.
Step 3 - Gather the Glimmers!
Download or Screenshot some glimmers or artwork for your digital template. Please remember to tag and give credit to the original creators and owners.
Step 4 - Upload to the template and arrange!
This is the fun part! Using our 9-pocket template or 12-pocket template, upload your graphics to to the template and arrange how you see fit! This
Step 5 - Share your Glimmer Grid!
Export or take a screenshot of your beautifully arranged Glimmer Grid and share it on social media and use #GlimmerGrid (and again, please tag and give credit to the original artists, creators and owners of the TCG and illustrations). That way fellow Illumineers can see your work, and get inspired to create their own Glimmer Grids!
The Binder Method
Step 1 -Pick a theme or vibe.
Choose a theme or concept for your grid such as Princesses, Villains or a specific film, animal or vibe.
Optional Step - Create a Digital Template or mood board using our 9-pocket template or 12-pocket template to brainstorm and get ideas.
Step 2 - Gather your Glimmers!
Bust out your favorite cards and/or bulk boxes and pull out your favorite ones that match the theme you chose. You don’t have to pull all the cards for the intended theme. Think about color and the overall aesthetic of your final Glimmer Grid. This isn’t a perfect organization system. It’s based on creativity, visuals and just enjoying the process.
Step 3 - Collect printed materials!
Think postcards, dividers from your Illumineer Troves, colored sleeves, Topps cards, park maps and flyers, scrapbook paper, and more. Think of this as a Disney Lorcana collage! And have fun finding the perfect supplies for your Glimmer Grid!
Suggested postcard dimensions for printing: 5.25x3.5in or 13.5x9cm.
Step 4 - Arrange your spread.
If you haven’t already used the digital template to arrange your Glimmer Grid, use this step to arrange your Glimmers and printed materials on a table or workspace. This step is helpful if you’re not quite ready to commit to a specific layout.
Step 5 - Fill your binder!
Slide all those Glimmers and beautiful printed materials in your bind and take it all in!
Step 6 - Share your Glimmer Grid!
Snap a photo of your Glimmer Grid and use #GlimmerGrid when you share it on social media! That way fellow Illumineers can see your work, and get inspired to create their own Glimmer Grids!
